Introducing our new line of 250 amp Battery Protection and Isolation products
Our Heavy Duty Battery Disconnect solutions offer automatic battery isolation, bridging, charging, and RV-C Communication depending on the application
Rated for 250 Amps
The Heavy Duty Battery Disconnect Solutions are rated for 250 Amps Continuous Duty
RV-C Communication
Select models come with RV-C for battery health monitoring, event collection, and other vital information on the vehicle's CANbus network.
Compact Size
The Heavy Duty Battery Protection was designed to be compact for easier installation.
Dimensions: 2.53 in x 4.02 in x 3.52 in
The HDBD was designed to handle the increased current requirements brought on by new battery technology in the RV industry. The HDBD uses a latching mechanism, reducing heat generation and losses when changing states.
Protects your battery from draining below an operable threshold. Upon low voltage conditions, the BG1K will automatically disconnect power, saving the battery form damage. The BG1K will automatically reconnect the battery and load upon safe voltage levels.
Features:
- 250 Amp continuous load capacity
- Automatic low voltage disconnect and reconnect
- Magnetic latching maintains disconnect state without drawing current
- Disconnect and reconnect verification with automatic retry
- Factory configurable parameters
- Momentary low-side switch input toggles between connected and disconnected state
- 300 mA high-side alarm output for indicating disconnected, reconnected and low voltage state
- Quick connect terminals for easy wire installation
The HD Battery Guard® is also available with RV-C communication, providing DC system information such as voltage and current through the device for real-time monitoring and analysis
Features:
- Configurable parameters to work with all battery types
- Inhibit feature to prevent unintended disconnects
- Ignition Proof
- 2 Amp Auxiliary disconnect bypass for critical loads with unique low voltage parameters
- Load current monitoring for both primary and auxiliary disconnects
- Dual RV-C Communication ports (1 switched voltage, 1 constant voltage)
- State of Charge can be provided by smart batteries via RV-C for more accurate remaining capacity readings
Heavy Duty Bi-Directional Isolator Relay Delay with RV-C
The HD Bi-Directional Isolator Relay Delay or B.I.R.D.® is a core piece of a DC Managment System that includes both a coach and a chassis battery. Its has 3 primary functions:
1) Bridging two battery banks together when a charging source is present from either one.
2) Isolating the batteries when the charging source is removed or when both battery banks are fully charged.
3) Providing aux start power when the chassis battery is low and unable to start the vehicle.
Features:
- 250 Amp continuous load capacity
- Mechanically latching requires no current draw to maintain state.
- Configurable parameters to work with all battery types.
- Automatic bridging and isolating of batteries.
- Bridge and isolation verification with automatic retry.
- Low side switch input for aux starts functionality
- Industry standard connectors for easy installation
- Ignition Proof
- 400 Amp Bi-Directional current sensing
- Dual RV-C Communication ports with isolated voltages
